We are delighted to advise that Designplan currently has four CPD presentations available.

The first includes a tour of our facility in Sutton to see the manufacturing process from raw sheet steel, through the machine shop, paint shop to final assembly. In addition the tour takes in the aspects of plastic moulding both injection moulding and vacuum forming in Richmond Plastics, a dp group company. Delegates are credited 4 hours towards their CPD programme total.

Our second CPD is entitled “An Introduction to LED Lighting” and provides a first stage explanation of this important subject.

The third provides an insight into the subject of “Vandal resistant” lighting. Since we have been at the forefront of this area of lighting for more than 40 years this seemed an obvious candidate for us.

“A Guide to Current Office Lighting Standards” is the fourth subject. This provides an overview to designing to meet the requirements of LG3/LG7.

All of these presentations have been assessed in conjunction with R.I.B.A. and have R.I.B.A. accreditation. Participants in the L.E.D., Vandal Resistant and Office lighting presentations are awarded 1 hour towards their CPD programme total.
