Supplying lighting to Tallinn Prison

Caragh BarryNews UK

The prison, which has started construction in Estonia’s capital city Tallinn, has a total area of 75,000m². The project consists of 15 different buildings with 512 cells for men and 92 cells for women. Designplan Lighting supplied all of the cell and custodial luminaires and our sister company Arlight was chosen to provide lighting for the non-custodial areas. Fagerhult Estonia led the project locally and were delighted to be able to offer a range of suppliers sourced from within the Fagerhult group. The prison is planned to be completed at the end of 2018.
