Prior to the introduction of the "Safer Cell Initiative" see Uni-Cell page of this section,
Monitor II was used for all normal requirements & continues to be regularly used by the Home Office Ministry of Justice to successfully illuminate prison cells.
Zinc coated steel body finished in chemical and abrasion resistant textured
white polyester powder coat.
Provision for conduit entry in back.
Extruded opal reeded polycarbonate diffuser slid into body after removal of
end plate. End plate held by tamperproof stainless steel screws.
4 watt night light facility on separate 240v circuit.
High frequency control gear mounted upon removable/hinged tray.
Plug and socket connector block to ease installation and maintenance.
Note: This is particularly important in custodial areas to enable any maintenance
to be carried out away from the 'sensitive' area, a spare tray having been
quickly and safely installed to keep fitting illuminated
