 Where the modified "Uni-Cell" for police stations is deemed not necessary, for example provision for running services through the fitting is not needed, then this Tuscan is often chosen for police cell use.

The design features of Tuscan enable it to withstand considerable physical attack. It is also highly rated against ingress of moisture.

In this case the need to prevent ligatures being attached has also been addressed. Surface and semi-recessed version available.

Zinc coated steel body finished in chemical and abrasion resistant textured black polyester powder coat.

Clear diffused polycarbonate shallow dish sealed into heavy gauge steel frame with gasket. Frame covered by anti ligature skirt on body and held to body by tamperproof countersunk stainless steel screws.

Plug and socket fused connector block to ease installation and maintenance.

 Note: This is particularly important in custodial areas to enable any maintenance to be carried out away from the 'sensitive' area, a spare tray having been quickly and safely installed to keep fitting illuminated.
