Ceiling mount or chain suspension sports hall lighting.
Six & Four Pack are designed to provide the protection needed in a multi activity
sports hall, to provide uniform light distribution and to be very simple to install.
Six Pack for higher ceilings and Four Pack for lower ones.
Simple installation when suspending the fitting is achieved because both
Six & Four Pack are supplied with a rear access point where the contractor brings
in the power cable negating the need for access into the fitting during the
installation process.
When ceiling mounting then normal front access via the hinged frame is the method.
Body manufactured in zinc coated steel finished in chemical and abrasion
resistant textured white polyester powder coat.
Two versions available one with a wire mesh behind a clear polycarbonate panel
and the other more commonly used where badminton is played, this with an
aluminium egg crate louvre behind panel.
Both Four & Six Pack are of sufficient strength to provide protection in the event of
being struck by footballs.
The polycarbonate panel is provided in front of louvre or mesh to protect from
falling glass in the event of lamp breakage. Although this is very unlikely it is better
to have the security that this brings than to allow any possibility of glass
contamination occurring.
High frequency control gear with each pair of lamps being on separate circuits
for individual switching.
Access to lamps for re-lamping by hinged frame secured by simple toggle latches.
Where badminton is played we recommend that Six Pack with hood is specified
so that shuttlecocks do not land and stay on top of fitting.
Note: Use spacers provided when mounting direct to ceiling.
