Tuscan has been designed with vandals and weather in mind.
The design features of Tuscan enable it to withstand considerable
physical attack. It is also highly rated against ingress of moisture.
Surface, semi recess and angle mount, anti corrosive.
Zinc-coated steel body finished in chemical and abrasion resistant
textured black polyester powder coat.
Switch start or high frequency control gear mounted upon removable tray.
Plug & socket fused connector block to ease installation and maintenance.
Provision for conduit entry in ends.
Clear diffused polycarbonate shallow dish sealed into heavy
gauge steel frame with mastic compound.
Frame held by tamperproof countersunk stainless steel screws.

14 guage version with 5mm diffuser to MOT subway specification available add suffix M400
Where Tuscan of any type is being considered for the lighting of maintenance pits ( non petroleum) then a special version is needed. The addition of suffix M8887 provides for many such installations, however we recommned discussion with our technical sales office prior to specification or ordering to ensure complete suitability
For a square sided option of the surface fitting add suffix SQ
Georgian wired glass option for use in areas such as cooker hoods add suffix GWG
If temperatures are expected to be higher than 50°C ambient, then remote control gear with GWG is recommended: Add suffix 10389
