DL86 AL:

DL86 AL anti-ligature luminaire is designed to meet the requirements of “Design in Mental Health Network’s (DiMHN) Testing Guidance for Products in Mental Health Facilities” rating LIG5-5/ES2.

DL86 AL is an anti-ligature downlight for secure applications. 

Anti-ligature design to help prevent self harming.

Designed to be disassembled and reinstated to ensure maintenance can be undertaken quickly and easily after anti-pick mastic application. 

IP65 (from below only) and rated to IK14 (100 joules of energy) ensuring a high level of impact resistance. 

DALI fitting, providing uniform light distribution which fits into a standard 79mm cut-out with a first fix mounting plate for ease of installation. 

A machined aluminium plate houses the aluminium die-cast body, both finished in a matt white powder coat and retained with tamperproof screws. 

Tested to operate in ambient temperatures of up to 40°C and with efficacies of >102 lm/W.
