Redoubt 100: 

Redoubt 100 is a maintenance pit luminaire, specifically designed to achieve the recommended illuminance and uniformity levels for heavy duty pits within rail maintenance facilities.

Redoubt 100 incorporates separate upward and downward illumination ensuring uniform lighting for both the underside of vehicles and the pit floor. It has been carefully designed to minimise glare, by restricting the output based on the illuminous surface area, in order to comply with BS-EN 12464-1 (1000lm per 300cm²). 

Redoubt 100’s unique shape helps minimise the risk of injury by minimising the protrusion into pit and by deflecting falling objects downwards. 

Redoubt 100 has been tested to several ingress protection ratings (IP66, IP69 and IP69K) to ensure cleaning at high pressure and temperature including jet washing.

Rated to IK16 (150 joules of energy) ensuring a high level of impact resistance.

Marine grade stainless steel body incorporates a flush clear polycarbonate diffuser with the electronic control gear on a removable tray for ease of maintenance.
