As part of the Qatar 2022 World Cup developments, Designplan worked with Fagerhult Middle East to supply our Misssion S12 luminaires to Doha Metro Red Line South.

The Red Line tunnels are 38 kilometers in length and are designed around the London Underground S1085 Fire Safety specifications utilising low smoke, zero halogen cables and control gear. This was a very aggressive programme where 5500 units were fitted over 16 weeks into Doha Metro.

Our Mission S12 luminaire is designed specifically for subsurface rail applications in accordance with fire precautions.
