Re-certification
You can rely on Designplan to recertify, as a new product, the CE / UKCA mark of a modified luminaire.
Consumer Protection Act
To ensure you comply with the CPA, we will take on the legal responsibility for the entire modified product.
Building regulations
We will provide you with a full photometry report to ensure assessment against Part L of the building regulations.
Ingress protection
To maintain the IP rating of the modified luminaire, we will provide any new parts to the original specification. We then test and recertify.
Lighting performance
Replacement diffusers will probably be required to maximise efficiency and control glare. We will provide confirmation of the CCT and CRI of the modified luminaire to ensure quality and comfort.
LED compatibility
Some components inside products designed for fluorescent lamps contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can damage LEDs. We test the compatibility of all componentry installed in the modified luminaire.
Warranty
