Designplan were appointed to provide lighting to the refurbishment of Britain’s first purpose built cycling tunnel which was first opened in 1951.
The Grade II-listed structure runs under the River Tyne between Haydon and Jarrow. Our Mission luminaire was chosen due to its robust construction, excellent lighting uniformity, low energy use and easy maintenance
