Tuscan AL is a ligature resistant luminaire specifically designed for challenging environments, such as custodial and secure healthcare facilities.

Product Information

Tuscan AL’s opal diffuser provides a soft lit appearance, while providing uniform illumination, ensuring a consistent light distribution. Incorporating a removable gear tray ensures Tuscan AL is quick and easy to maintain, whilst enabling sustainable technology upgrades.

Tuscan AL is designed to meet the requirements of “Design in Mental Health Network’s (DiMHN) Testing Guidance for Products in Mental Health Facilities” rating LIG5-5/ES2. Tuscan AL is a ligature resistant fitting, designed to help prevent self-harming, with ligature resistant first fix bezel.

It is designed to be disassembled and reinstated to ensure maintenance can be undertaken quickly and easily after anti-pick mastic application.

Custodial applications include police stations and law courts. Secure Health applications include communal areas, de-escalation areas, bedrooms and en-suites.

Product Specification

Impact Resistance Rating: IK16 (150 joules of energy).

Ingress Protection Rating: IP65.

Housing: Zinc coated steel body.

Paint: Polyester powder coat. For all colours available, CLICK HERE.

Diffuser: Opal polycarbonate diffuser in frame secured with tamperproof screws.

Driver: Electronic control gear on removable tray with fused plug & socket connector block.

Mounting: Ceiling, recessed.

Cable Entry: Provision for conduit entry in back.
