    • Designplan worked closely with Fourway on Brent Cross West Station, the first major new mainline station in London in over a decade. With Thameslink trains connecting central London to Brent Cross in as little as 12 minutes. Fourway were awarded the Design & Build and Lighting Installation by VolkerFitzpatrick for this project.

    Designplan were specified for Brent Cross West Station due to our range of products intended for areas where compliance to LUL 1-085 Fire safety performance of materials are essential.

    Our Area Sales Manager and Project Management team also worked closely with Mace and the on-site M&E installation team at Fourway to achieve the continuous lighting across the impressive, curved beam, roof structure in the station’s ticket hall. This involved designing in dummy body sections and a bespoke aspect to our popular Stromma range, an IP65 modular lighting system offering continuous linear illumination for internal and external applications.
